Pregnancy Circles

Are you pregnant and would like to find your ‘mum tribe’ before your baby arrives?

We have created a different way of preparing for birth and beyond. Pregnancy Circles are not traditional antenatal classes.

Our main goal is to have a strong and supportive group of women, focusing on building connection and lasting friendships.

We are offering access to reliable and unbiased information and exploring your options in pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.

Each session will have activities to help you learn and reflect on different topics, while exploring your emotions and thoughts in a safe environment.

Sessions:

1st Introduction

2nd Working with your intuition

3rd Physiological birth

4th Empowered birth

5th The 4th trimester

6th Mother blessing

Each session includes guided meditation and relaxation at the end to help you feel relaxed and at ease.

This is a 6 session course on Thursdays from 19:30h to 21:00h, located in Yurt in the City, close to Central Station and with ample parking for clients. The total cost is £120.

Apart from the face to face sessions we have a WhatsApp group so that the friendship and support created continues. It is a great support for your birthing experience and especially your postpartum.

And once your baby is born you have your place reserved to attend the Postnatal Circles at the Yurt. 2 hour sessions on Monday mornings where you and your baby will be looked after by two postnatal doulas, doing postnatal yoga, baby massage and real postnatal conversations.

If you think this course is for you, come and join us! We look forward to meeting you🥰.

Postnatal circles

The aim of this group is to provide a safe and supportive environment for new mothers in the postnatal period to connect and share the characteristics of this time with other women.

Emotional recovery is essential for overall wellbeing and for feeling strong and empowered in the new role as a mother. The incredible space of an authentic yurt in a room provides a sense of calm and intimacy. With the benefits of participating in women’s circles, the postnatal circles become a truly space of understanding and support without judgement.

Pineda, a birth and postnatal doula and circle facilitator, creates these spaces with the help of the special yurt, the power of the group and all her extensive knowledge of the postnatal period, where it is possible to reflect and share about motherhood, mental health, the emotional roller coaster, relationships, body changes, social pressures and so on. She also signposts to evidence-based information and resources when needed.

Pineda understands that every mother is an expert on her baby and that there is no one way to be a ‘mother’. Her goal is for mothers to leave the yurt feeling more confident, happy and empowered.

During sessions we include breath work, rebozo massage, circle time, hot tea and chocolate biscuits and guided motivation

Mondays mornings from 10:30 am to 12pm

We offer drop in sessions for £18* and discounted 4 Mondays a month for £52. Book your place here!

*The circles are a very small group, please message 07902856445 or email hello@doulapineda.com to confirm your place.

Spanish Speaker social group for new mums and mums to be (FREE)

Do you speak Spanish and are about to have your baby? Or are you a new mum with your new baby and would like to make mums friends?  Come and meet other Spanish Speakers mums and mums to be in our weekly coffee together.

Sometimes having a baby can be a lonely experience if we don’t have family and friends around. This is more likely for mothers who live abroad. That is the reason for this group, providing a warm and friendly group with mums and mums-to-be that speak Spanish. Because social support is important for the wellbeing of the new mother and therefore for her family.
