Pregnancy Circles
Are you pregnant and want to find your ‘mum tribe’ before your baby arrives?
Do you feel overwhelmed by the amount of information out there about childbirth and the postnatal perio
Pregnancy Circles are not traditional antenatal classes. We offer the first holistic antenatal class in Cardiff to help you feel more confident and have a positive birth and postnatal experience.
Created and led by a certified antenatal doula and hypnobirthing teacher. Both have extensive knowledge and experience of facilitating groups during pregnancy and postpartum.
We focus on connecting with you, your baby and the group of pregnant women while providing a safe and nurturing space for reflection, learning and sharing.
Each session focuses on a theme that provides access to reliable and unbiased information and explores your options in pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Sessions:
1st Introduction
2nd Working with your intuition
3rd Physiological birth
4th Empowered birth
5th The 4th trimester
6th Mother blessing
Each session includes guided meditation and relaxation at the end to help you feel relaxed and at ease.
This is a 6 session course on Thursdays from 19:30h to 21:00h, located in Yurt in the City, close to Central Station and with ample parking for clients. The total cost is £120.
In addition to the face-to-face sessions in the yurt, we have an active and supportive WhatsApp group to continue the magic of the Circles. The connection, friendship and support that lasts well beyond the end of the Circles.
And once your baby is born, we look forward to welcoming you and your baby to Postnatal Circles. One and a half hour sessions on Monday mornings where mums can relax, share and connect with other new mums. A special mother-centred group to support you through the postnatal period.
If you are looking for a different and more holistic experience, this is your group! Come and join us at the Pregnancy Circles🥰.
“I loved the pregnancy circles. Every session was empowering, calming and bursting with information. You learn about physiological birth first and then from that you can understand how intervention can deviate from this. I found in traditional antenatal in my last pregnancy there was more focus on possible interventions but I found I understood it a lot more starting from a firm knowledge of physiological birth. In the circles, there is a huge emphasis on supporting Mum as the centre both during pregnancy, birth and Postpartum. Postpartum is discussed by centreing how to access support and how valuable this is Vs in antenatal where the focus is predominantly the baby and how to bath them and change their nappies. The pregnancy circles provide a holistic, woman centred approach to support this special time in a woman’s life. Kayleigh and Pineda are so enthusiastic, and supportive of whatever birth preferences you have. You are encouraged to share your feelings with the group weekly and personally this helped me overcome some challenges and even after the circles have finished I am still receiving support from these women. I am 2 weeks away from my due date and I feel strong and excited for the birth. I feel confident to advocate for myself and informed enough to understand my choices and options throughout whatever happens.
Thank you thank you thank you!! I can’t recommend enough.” Katie.
“Such a good “course”! I really looked forward to the relaxing nature of it every week and learnt so much too! Everything made so much more sense once you learnt about how the body actually works, especially the uterus muscles! Lots of focus on what you need after birth too in terms of the mum and postpartum life. Pineda and Kayleigh are amazing and so knowledgeable! Really enjoyed the relaxing meditation at the of each session too! Time flies in the yurt and you come out feeling very empowered! I miss it! 😂 Will hopefully be back for postnatal circles!” Daisy.

Postnatal circles
The aim of this group is to provide a safe and supportive environment for new mothers in the postnatal period to connect and share the characteristics of this time with other women.
Emotional recovery is essential for overall wellbeing and for feeling strong and empowered in the new role as a mother. The incredible space of an authentic yurt in a room provides a sense of calm and intimacy. With the benefits of participating in women’s circles, the postnatal circles become a truly space of understanding and support without judgement.
Pineda, a birth and postnatal doula and circle facilitator, creates these spaces with the help of the special yurt, the power of the group and all her extensive knowledge of the postnatal period, where it is possible to reflect and share about motherhood, mental health, the emotional roller coaster, relationships, body changes, social pressures and so on. She also signposts to evidence-based information and resources when needed.
Pineda understands that every mother is an expert on her baby and that there is no one way to be a ‘mother’. Her goal is for mothers to leave the yurt feeling more confident, happy and empowered.
During sessions we include breath work, rebozo massage, circle time, hot tea and chocolate biscuits and guided motivation
Mondays mornings from 10:30 am to 12pm
